We're so blessed to have her on our Hilltop Youth team to teach our Sunday Morning Youth Bible Study Class and Co-Lead with our 6th Grade Girls on Wednesday Nights

Chad Gibson aka Chaaaaaaad as the boys call him not only has "aura," but truly, he is a man of God who happily assists families in teaching their sons to walk in the way of the LORD. He makes Wednesday Night Youth with the High School guys a blast!

Shawnda is the hostess with the mostest! Ask any student, she always has a treat for our students or a kind word to say. Shawnda is our Wednesday Night Sophmore Girls Small Group Leader! Besides being an epic girl mom, she makes a mean charcuterie board.

The coolest board member for Youth Encounter the Savior and all-around Scripture quoting queen, she is an amazing addition to our team and ensures every Youth program & event runs smoothly!

Our newest addition to the team fresh out the High School halls, is Savannah! She will be co-leading with our Freshman Girls Small Group team. She's passionate about the LORD and how that meets in real life. We're so glad she said yes to join us!

WHAT DOES IT TAKE?
Being a small group leader is at least a 1 year commitment. Why such a commitment? Because we believe in discipling in our ministry.
- We believe that small group leaders are to disciple and walk with their students in life both in and outside the walls of our church under the guidance of the Youth Pastor during this time.
- Small Group leaders' partner with parents as well to help nurture faith not just in the student but within families as well.
- Small group leaders make it personal by inspiring their small group students by being a living example of what it means to walk in faith.
- It's not "just 30 minutes on a Wednesday Night." It's about investing in the lives of a few students in order to encourage authentic faith that is unborrowed.
